Fork Lift Truck Operators - Re-Tests

This course is designed for previously trained & certificated operators who are in need of refresher training.

Course Details

• The Health and Safety at Work Act
• Reminder of the operator's safety code
• Corrective tuition to eradicate any undesirable or dangerous habits that may have been picked up over the years
• Pre - shift checks
• Battery charging/Refueling
• "Dummy" test to establish existing ability
• JCITB Testing of candidates
• Written test
• Test on pre - shift checks

Successful trainees are awarded a certificate of training which is recognised by the HSE as proof of formal training.

Please note that whilst there is no direct legal requirement to have re-tests conducted for fork lift truck operators the fact that none have been carried out can be used in a court of law in the event of an accident. Our advice therefore is that operators should be re-tested every three years.
